Our silver and gold charms are shipped with your choice of three different top ring styles (A, B or C) at no additional charge.

A. Open Ring Top
The open ring is a heavy round ring which is bent closed but not soldered closed. You would order this type of ring when placing a charm on a charm bracelet. Since the ring is not closed, we highly recommend having jeweler solder this ring completely closed after it has been placed on your charm bracelet.

B. Solder Top Ring Closed
This ring is a completely closed, solid ring with no openings. You would order this type of ring if the charm is to be worn around the neck on a necklace chain. Since there are no openings on this ring, it will not fall off of your necklace chain.

C. Split Ring Top
We realize it's difficult to see this on the photograph, but a split ring looks like a small key ring and you would place this ring on a charm bracelet the same way you would put a key on a key ring. If you use this ring on a charm bracelet there is no need to have a jeweler solder the ring closed. You may also use this type of ring with a necklace chain.
